HOW TO PERFORM UMRAH?

If you want to perform UMRAH this year, don't use opportunities for obvious. Thank you for recognizing the fact that they were selected from some of Allah for this honour. Thank you to Allah, he supplies them to them and brings them to the standpoint to make them. Well, since they made an important decision, it came when they planned how they to do. To harvest the largest benefit and reward, you need to understand the correct way to implement UMRAH. To help you, we have put together this comprehensive step-by-step Umrah guide. It will teach you how to make Umrah before embarking on a spiritual journey to Mecca.

What is Umrah?

The Arabic word "umrah" comes from "i'timar", which is defined as "visit". But in Islamic terms, Umrah refers to visiting the sacred Kaaba to perform a minor pilgrimage in Mecca. It is a service based on the teachings of the Prophet of Allah (Salaraf Aleich Wasalam). Unlike Hajj, Umrah can be held at any time of the year, unlike the large pilgrimages that take place on Dhu al-Hijja's designated days. Now that you know what Umrah is, let's see how to do it. The Umrah Ritual consists of four pillars, including Ihram, Tawaf, Rhinoceros, and Hulk.

Step 1-Ihram

For those who want to play Hajj or Umrah, Ihram is a necessary ritual. Without Ihram, your Umrah or Mecca pilgrimage would not be accepted. What exactly is Ihram? Ihram is a particular state where pilgrims enter and leave during Mecca pilgrimages and Umrah. To enter the holy state, you need to perform certain cleansing rituals and wear proper clothing. When all Mecca pilgrims or Umrah pilgrims appear in Allah's house in the same Ihram outfit, this creates perfect equality and eliminates all economic and social differences between them. When going to Umrah or Mecca pilgrimages, it is not possible to distinguish between the rich and the poor. It is also important to understand that entering Ihram imposes certain restrictions that must be noted. These include: Men are not allowed to shave or cut their hair or beard. Men are not allowed to wear sewn or woven garments. For women, all white or black clothing that completely covers the body except the face and hands is Ihram. Therefore, during the pilgrimage to Umrah and Mecca, women can wear sewn clothes. The woman should not expose any parts of her body other than her face and hands. Men and women should not wear any kind of perfume, including perfumes, deodorants, aftershave lotions, and fragrant soaps. Unscented soap will be provided during the trip. Pilgrims are not allowed to engage in sexual activity. Pilgrims cannot hunt animals or cut down plants or trees.

How to Make Umrah Niyyah?

An important rule pilgrims must understand is that the niyyah for Umrah or Ihram must be made before crossing one of the Meeqats.

Niyyah is the intention to perform any act of prayer, which is be followed by Talbiyah, which is a special prayer that Hajji should keep reciting until they reach Masjid AlHaram.

You can just make the Umrah niyyah in your heart, but also recite the words with your voice. You may recite any of the following supplications for niyyah:

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ عُمْرَةً

O Allah! Here I am to perform Umrah.

O Allah! I intend to perform Umrah.

O Allah! I intend to do Umrah, so please accept it and make it easy for me.

Meeqats are prescribed places set by the beloved Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam) for entering with the state of Ihram for all those proceeding for Hajj or Umrah. There are five stations in total, and which one applies to you depends on where you`re travelling from.

Here are the five Meeqat locations:

Rabegh or AlJuhfah – For those travelling from the West, Syria, Egypt

Yalumlum – For those who are coming from Pakistan, India, or Yemen.

Abyar Ali or DhulHulaifah – For those travelling from Madinah

QarnA lManazel – For those travelling from Taif and Najd

DhatulIrq – For those travelling from Iraq.

How to Enter the State of Ihram?

If you`re journeying with the aid of using air, you have to input the country of Ihram earlier than crossing the Meeqat that applies to you. If you`re journeying in Saudi Airlines, they`ll make an assertion concerning the Meeqat at suitable time earlier than accomplishing Makkah. We propose sporting the Ihram garments at domestic and postpone the niyyah till you get near the Meeqat at the same time as withinside the airplane. You won`t formally input the country of Ihram till you're making the niyyah. Before setting on Ihram apparel, get your self in a country of bodily cleanliness. Perform ghusl, which refers to taking a tubtub in a prescribed manner. Alternatively, you could simply carry out wudhu. Ihram apparel consists of sheets of white cloth, one for the top 1/2 of of the frame and the opposite for the decrease 1/2 of. After sporting Ihram apparel, pray rakahs salah Al Ihram, however don`t make your niyyah of Ihram or Umrah proper now as referred to above. When you`re near your relevant Meeqat, make your goal for Ihram and Umrah as consistent with the technique defined withinside the final phase after which recite Talbiyah. Reciting Talbiyah is wajib and it validates your goal to go into the country of Ihram. The Talbiyah prayer is as follows:

: لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ لاَشَرِيْكَ لَكَ

Translation: At your service, O Allah, at Your service. At Your service, you haven't any partner, at Your Service. Truly all praise, favour, and sovereignty are Yours. You haven't a partner. After reciting Talbiyah, you`ve entered the country of Ihram and are a Muhrim.

Step 2-Tawaf Al Umrah

Muslims perform Tawaf around the Kaaba the word Tawaf comes from the Arabic word "Tahfa" which means "surround something". There are five types of Tawaf, but I will explain Tawaf Al Umrah, which is a necessary part of Umrah.

Preparation

For performing Tawaf, you must be free from all major and minor impurities and be in a state of ablution. If your ablution ends at any point during the Tawaf, carry out the ablution again and resume your Tawaf from where you left. You will be in Ihram clothing. For men, navel and knees and its area must be covered, while for women, the whole body must be covered else face an hands.

Starting Point

Once you`re in Mataf, observe Idtiba, the uncovering of the right shoulder, as per of Sunnah for Tawaf Al Umrah. there fore you should keep your upper sheet of your Ihram under your right armpit and hanging it from the left shoulder. You will have to keep your right shoulder uncovered throughout the Tawaf. The starting point for Tawaf is the corner of the Ka`abah where Hajr AlAswad or the black stone is installed. Standing with facing the Ka`abah with the black stone on your right side. This is where you`ll do the niyyah to perform Tawaf. Recite the following to make the intention:

سْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ إِيْمَاناً بِكَ وَتَصْدِيْقاً بِكِتَابِكَ، وَوَفَاءً بِعَهْدِكَ، وَاتِّبَاعاً لِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدْ

Translation: In the name of Allah, Allah is the greatest. O Allah, out of faith in You, conviction in Your book, in fulfilment of Your covenant and in emulation of Your Prophet’s Sunnah ﷺ.

start your Tawaf by heading to your right therefore the Ka`abah is on your left. This way, you`ll be making the round in an anticlockwise direction. Raml is another sunnah practice that you should observe when running Tawaf Al Umrah. It refers to the practice of walking quickly, raising your legs powerfully, and sticking out your chest to imitate a warrior. After performing the first three rounds of Tawaf in this way, the remaining four rounds should return to normal walking. We humbly perform Tawafu with the size of Kaaba in mind. Avoid eating and drinking unnecessarily and avoid talking about mundane things.

Read during Tawaf Duas

It's time for the Dua to be accepted, so you can recite all the plea and Dua you remember during Tawaf. You can recite the Arabic Dua or pray in your own language. However, it is highly recommended to remember the Arabic Sunnaduas and recite it during Tawafu. However, be humble when praying and be sure to understand each dua you recite so that you do not repeat the words. The best dua to chant between the Yamani Corner and Hajr Al Aswad as defined by the Sunnah are:

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Translation: O Lord, grant us the best in the world and the best in the next world, and protect us from the punishment of hellfire.

Reaching Hajar Alas wad marks the completion of each round. Kiss, touch or salute the black stone to move on to your next round. This is referred to as Istilam.

After Tawaf

Once you`ve completed the seven rounds of Tawaf, follow these steps:

Salah Al Tawaf

This refers to the two rakahs of Salah to be performed after completing your Tawaf. It is desirable to do this salah near Makamei Brahim, but it may not be possible due to the location within Mataf. Therefore, this Sarah can be run anywhere in Masjid.

Zam Zam

After playing Salah AL tawaf, head to the Zamzam Fountain in Masjid al-Haram. You should be able to get water from any dispenser or well in the area. Duas are also accepted at this station, so make as many duas as you can. After drinking Zam Zam's water, you can also chant the next Dua.

Translation: Allah! Please tell us useful knowledge, abundant supplies, and cures for all illnesses.

Performing Umrah with kids

Yes, it is possible to perform Umrah with your child. However, you need to fully understand that you need to perform various steps such as niyyah, tawaf, sa`ee on behalf of your child. Talk to a real scholar to learn the procedure.

Step 3-Sa'ee

Like Tawaf, Sae is an obligatory step for Umrah. Simply put, it is a habit of walking seven times between Safa and the hills of Marwa. After completing Tawaf and running Salah Al Tawaf, go back to Hajr Al Aswad and run Istilam again, then go to Safa Hill to start Sa`ee.

As you approach the hills of Safa, recite the following poem from the Quran:

إِنَّ ٱلصَّفَا وَٱلْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ
Translation: In fact, Safa and Marwa are one of the signs of Allah (SWT).

Next, recite the following dua

Translation: I start with what Allah started. When you arrive at Safari Hill,

recite the next Duas.

Translation: Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, and all praise is by Allah.

There are many other Sunnah petitions that can be recited before starting the rhino. Also, make your own dua in your own language. Then start walking to Marwah. Between the two hills of Safa and Marwa, there are two sets of green fluorescent lights located about 50 meters apart. In the meantime, men need to run at a moderate pace, while women need to keep running at a normal pace. No special dua or dhikr is specified for the pilgrims who play Sa'i. You can recite any petition or dua such as B. Send Durood to the Prophet (Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam). Every time he arrives at Malwa, he makes the same plea he made when he arrived at Safa. Your 7th round ends at Marwar Hill. Although not required, it is recommended to run 2 Raka Salah after completing sa`ee.

Step 4-Halq or Taqsir

After sa`ee, you need to run halq or taqsir to exit the state of ihram. If you do not perform this important step, you will remain in the Ihram state. Halq means shave your head and Taqsir means straighten your hair. Even if you don't have hair, razor your head to complete the ritual. For taqsir, you need to trim the minimum amount of fingertip length on all sides of the head where the hair is present. You can cut your hair yourself, but it's also legal to hire someone else to do it. Meanwhile, women are forbidden to do Halq. No matter how short your hair is, you only need to clip the length of your fingertips from the edge of the hair.

Step 5-End Ihram

When Halq or Taqsir is complete, you will leave Ihram. At the end of Ihram, you will be freed from the restrictions associated with Ihram, such as the use of perfume, amputation of nails, and the conclusion of marriage. You can now change into your regular clothes. However, if Umrah is part of the Mecca pilgrimage, marital relationships will remain banned until Tawaf al-Jara, but other Ihram restrictions will be lifted.

Congratulations on completing Umrah!

Congratulations, you have completed Umrah. Instead of being proud of your achievements, continue to repent, thank Allah for your privileges, and continue to make Dua for your Umrah to be accepted. ‎

How long does it take to complete Umrah?

The time it takes to complete Umrah depends primarily on the crowd during the performance, your pace, the weather, and whether you take breaks between rituals. The most time-consuming steps in Umrah are Tawaf and Sae. Under normal circumstances, each of these lasts about 2 hours. In this case, it will not take more than 3-4 hours to complete Umrah. It can take quite some time during busy hours.
